Finally, we found ourselves in Verona, set in the Veneto region of northern Italy along the Adige River. Surrounded by rolling hills and close to the foothills of the Alps, this city’s location creates a mild climate that favors vineyards and olive groves. We, the VayCay Couple, were drawn to how the river winds through the city’s heart, shaping Verona’s storied past and present day life.
