Further inland in the Lombardy region lies Milan, situated in the fertile Po Valley. The flat terrain here stands in contrast to the nearby Alpine foothills, creating a temperate climate that supports both urban life and agricultural plains. We, the VayCay Couple were fascinated by how Milan’s modern skyline thrives in such a historically significant area of northern Italy.
